A member of ACNEM, Dr. Tam has a passion for assisting patients with a range of conditions, including mould illness, long COVID, and hormonal issues. Her approach is deeply rooted in the belief that patient care comes first, always.
Dr. Tam is not only fluent in English but also speaks Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese, providing a comfortable and understanding environment for our Chinese speaking patients.

She has a strong interest in preventive healthcare and chronic disease management, ensuring comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals and families.
A busy mother of three, Dr. Deb balances her medical career with her passion for music, playing the flute in the South East QLD Symphonic Winds.

Dr. Shanice Metcalf

Dr Metcalf welcomes all new and existing patients to consult her from Clayfield Medical Centre, commencing January 2025.
After working a number of years in various hospitals throughout Australia and Queensland, she is now completing her specialist training in the field of General Practice (FRACGP).
As a North Brisbane local, Dr Metcalf looks forward to giving back to her community and implementing evidence-based practice to deliver excellent care. Dr Metcalf has a compassionate nature and the ability to build meaningful relationships with patients, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their own health care and is interested in all aspects of General Practice.

Dr. Anita Smith

Qualifications: MBBS, LLB, DRANZCOG, DCH, FRACGP
Dr Smith is looking forward to consulting all new and existing patients at Clayfield Medical Centre, commencing March 2025.
After graduating from Griffith University in 2009, Dr Smith trained for several years at tertiary and outer metropolitan hospitals on the Gold Coast and Brisbane gaining invaluable experience as a junior doctor. She then completed 2 years training as a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology but after starting her own family, she made the decision to change to training as a GP. She completed her specialist training as a GP (FRACGP) in 2019.
Dr Smith is passionate about promoting women’s health and is qualified in insertion of Mirena and Implanon. She is able to advise on contraception and fertility concerns, endometriosis, PCOS, chronic pelvic pain and enjoys shared antenatal care. Dr Smith performs iron infusions and minor skin excisions. She also works with children and has completed a Diploma in Children’s Health. She has extensive knowledge and experience working with patients with chronic disease, having spent the past 6 years specialising in indigenous health. Dr Smith’s aim is to work collaboratively with you about your health to enable you to make informed decisions.
